What this sequence means
The task set changes the setting and the amount of responsibility placed on each candidate. Discussion and planning expose how ideas are developed with others; the outdoor tasks make cooperation, rule awareness and practical execution visible; individual and command activities give the GTO a closer view before the group comes together again.
The GTO accumulates evidence across the series and looks at how consistently a candidate helps the group make progress. Solving one obstacle, speaking first or producing one strong moment does not stand in for the overall assessment. The groupings shown here do not assert one fixed running order.
